Jardines de la Paz was created more than one decade ago when the funerary services passed through a difficult situation in our country. It was an unprecedented decision in our country and it was inspired in Europeans and American models.

After a complete research we decided that our proposal should not be only being an ecological cemetery or only a traditional graveyard but a combination of both.



Based in the diversity of our country costumes, we decided to provide the best variety of services and choices. From that moment, our concept is to provide the service that people desire without obligating them to change their family costumes for foreign patterns.

However, in order to understand the immediate success of Jardines de la Paz, we can not forget to mention main concepts such as: security, cleanness, order, readiness and the best client’s service. We were the first ones to offer the Pre-need purchase service in our country. To achieve our, we had to innovate our work and control methods such as: timing, movement reduction, rotate control of the personnel during all the week, etc.




Although our services were based in American and European models, as we mentioned before, the details of the funeral ceremony were carefully created in accordance with our costumes. We provide religious service, master of ceremonies, descent of the coffin to the in-ground grave, covering of the coffin and the reestablishment of the grass lining at the presence of the mourners. Generally, our service has been so widely accepted that it has become the standard model for all this kind of cemeteries.

The adoption of this new kind of services has required some modifications in the burial ceremony such as new offer methods, advertisement and anticipated purchase. The introduction in the market has been carefully studied by specialists of many areas, in order to avoid the rejection of very conservative or religious consumers.




We have to remark that we have been very carefully in the designing of our own advertisement system. In spite of the necessary discretion and respect of our advertisement, only a few people from Lima could say that they do not know or hear anything about Jardines de la Paz. The establishment of this dynamic and well-trained group of familiar consignment was an important novelty.

In order to complement this innovative proposal, we decided to build the cemetery in arid hillsides since they are lands without any agricultural or building value and they have a wonderful sightseeing that contributes with a sensation of peace. Those who visit our cemetery are impacted by this kind of impression.



Within this concept and with the help of the most advanced technology 50, 000 m²of grass and 10 000m² of areas with trees and bushes were created in a period of 12 years in a sandy area in the surroundings of Lima. This is an important contribution to the ecology. This is what we do in Jardines de la Paz with a vision in the future and with respect of our our present.

When we began our operations in 1991 we only had an area that scarcely exceed 2500 m2. The parking lot was only for 50 vehicles and we only had a little pre fabricated stand as an administrative office.



Nowadays, our cemetery in La Molina has 50 000m2 for in-ground burial, pavilions of 20000 niches pavilions for ash urns, as well as administrative buildings and other services.

During important dates, we received more than 7 000 vehicles in our parking lot. We have now our own security personnel, traffic control and master of ceremonies to monitor the several events than are executed at the same time.

Jardines de la Paz is a modern cemetery that will continue its gradually progress following the technology trends of the XXI century in accordance with the needs of our clients.
